The warrant must be transmitted to the shipper in writing or by electronic means of communication. If it is conferred verbally or by telephone, the principal is liable for risks related to erroneous or incomplete communications until the shipper receives written confirmation of the mandate.
The warrant must contain all the data necessary for its normal execution, such as the indication of regulated goods (for example: dangerous goods) or goods that otherwise require special treatment.
The text of documents attached to the warrant does not constitute an integral part of the warrant unless the principal explicitly states it as such.
