WHAT ARE USURPATIVE GOODS?

,

A commodity is defined as usurious when it has been obtained using original components, names and labels supplied or approved by the owner, but is produced and marketed without the owner’s permission.

Customs is one of the agencies in charge of controlling and cracking down on the traffic of pirated goods, and can do so on its own initiative or at the request and/or report of producers who believe that the goods about to be imported may have been produced without their authorization. Goods recognized as usurpative are usually seized and destroyed.
